Here's a text description of routes we suggest for Day 2: Riding the Enchanted Circle and/or to Chama.
Here's a text description of routes we suggest for Day 3: Taos to Albuquerque.

There are several ways to get to Taos. We'll offer the most scenic and twisty alternatives.

Albuquerque to Taos
  • Abq to Santa Fe via Sandia Crest & Highway 14 to Madrid then Santa Fe. (Seen Wild Hogs yet? Check out pic 5 in the Gallery. We'll be riding through Madrid and the movie was shot entirely in NM.)
  • Santa Fe to Pojoaque
  • Pojoaque to Taos via the "High road" to Taos

The top of Sandia Crest (10,414') just outside Albuquerque. The road to the top is 14 miles long and ascends 4,000' in elevation. Be forewarned that you could end up riding with some of these scurvy dogs though.
