Wilbers Shocks and Fork Springs
The FJR1300 stock suspension was significantly undersprung, both front and rear, when the 2003 model year first hit our North American shores in the summer of '02. Yamaha upgraded the suspension the very next model year, but this is still one component area that remains ripe for improvement. The OEM rear shock is not the most high end unit, nor is it designed for rebuilding after its worn. Many riders start to notice degradation around the 15K mile mark (+/- obviously, depending on riding habits and load). Typically, most riders consider it toast by 25K, thereabouts.
The same is roughly true for the front springs, but since our 48mm Soqi forks are fully adjustable for preload, rebound and compression, one can compensate for the wear up to a point, assuming periodic fork oil flush/refill is performed. Still, the OEM springs are usually spent by 15K-20K or so.
This Group Buy will offer Wilbers Fork Springs, and three different base models of their rear Shock Absorber. These models can be ordered with several available options depending on your needs, wants, and budget.
The prices are fixed and not on a sliding scale as with the last group buy.
This will ensure that orders are paced with the factory the day you complete
the order form. Wilbers USA does not have to wait for a certain order volume
to be reached to determine the price and then place the order.

Here's how this Group Buy will work:
- Completely fill out the form on the Signup Page.
- After you submit the form, a unique Group Buy "code" will be sent to the email address you provide. This code is specifically tied to your name, city and state... no one else can use it, so it does no good to share it with anyone else.
- This Group Buy offer is only valid from Jan 9, 2006 through Jan 23, 2006.
- You can pay one of three ways: credit card, check/money order, or PayPal. If paying by credit card, you will phone in your cc number *after* you have received the GB order confimation number emailed to you when you sign up. Wilbers will require a $100.00 non refundable deposit, and the balance the day they ship the order.
- The orders to the Wilbers factory in Germany will be placed after Klaus has received all of your data, specs and information on payment method. Klaus will place the orders on the evening of the day the information is complete. No changes can be accepted after that.
